Currently practicing as a doctor in medical aesthetics… and thoroughly enjoying my work.
Simple aesthetic medical procedures can (and should) be a part of primary healthcare to everyone. It’s not quite worlds apart and I find it’s good complete practice to take care of your patient’s needs, both in sickness and in health.
More about me: my interest is in family medicine practice (for which I am gearing towards) but my passion is in beauty and cosmetics! Really, I’m in the business of restoring confidence to women like myself.
Frankly, I had confidence issues myself. You may exclaim in disbelief and go, “What?! That’s impossible! You are a doctor and a beauty queen!” Well, confidence is something you breed– it’s not born to you. It’s in the way you choose to look and the way you choose to think.
I’m not exactly an advocate of cosmetic surgical overhauls either. I’ve seen those who underwent the knife one too many times and started looking so plastic that nothing moves on their faces when they smile. (Oh for goodness sake!) :P Not me– I believe in minimalistic enhancements that goes a long way in improving people’s first impressions of you.
