During the National Day rally speech this year, PM announced that they are planning to revise the Primary Care Partnership Scheme to include those above 40 with chronic illnesses.
Pretty good move! This spreads the burden of chronic diseases to the thousands of GP clinics islandwide. Government polyclinics need not be so crowded; the sick and old need not wait in queues and still get their subsidised medicines promptly. On top of that, they’re going to include more drugs, revise income criteria and increase affordability of medications. Family doctors everywhere can shoulder the burden and patients get primary care at their doorstep.
Bravo bravo bravissimo! 😀
